The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority in the life of the Believer. (2 TIm 3:16-17)
The Trinity
We believe that there is One God, represented as the Trinity of God.
- God the Father (Leviticus 11:44-45, John 3:16, 5:26, Acts 17:28)
- God the Son. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23, 3:17, John 3:16)
- The Holy Spirit (Psalm 51:11, Isaiah 61:1-3, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is God's love expressed and it is a gift from God, received by grace through faith. We believe salvation is not something that is earned by works, but by belief, confession, and expressed in by a life surrendered to God.
(John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Worship
We believe worship is a lifestyle and a heartset toward God expressed in spirit and in truth and is vital to the life of the believer. (John 4:23-24)
Discipleship
As a believer, we are called to discipleship and to make disciples that live a disciplined life with accountability through relationships. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Prayer
Prayer is monumentally important to the believer and is foundation to Freedom Church. (Phillipians 4:6, Matthew 6:9-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Baptism
We believe that baptism is a public display of the decision to live for Christ. Altough we don't believe that baptism is necessary for salvation, we encourage anyone who hasn't been baptized to make that public declaration. (Romans 6:3-4, Matthew 3:11, Matthew 3:16)
Fellowship
We believe fellowship and connection to like-minded believers is another key element to the growth of the believer. (Hebrews 11:25)
